Designed with three glass walls on the rooftop of Pariss Hotel, the Skydeck @ Level 10 offers diners the unique opportunity to savour sumptuous meals served with spectacular views.  Hotel guests and walk-in diners who have discovered this charming ambience can choose to dine in air-conditioned comfort or alfresco by the outdoor swimming pool. 

Now diners are coming back, not just for the panoramic views but for the North Indian specialties served in an exciting menu that also includes western and local cuisine.

“This is the only place in Nusa Bestari that serves fine North Indian cuisine,” said Hotel Manager, M. Saseekumar, as he explained that their North Indian recipes are unique to Orissa – the hometown of their Indian chef.  Their kitchen is manned by separate teams specialising in Indian cuisine and western and local cuisine to provide a wider choice of quality gourmet meals to diners.

While there are many food choices in Nusa Bestari and the nearby areas, Skydeck @ Level 10 remains competitive in terms of food quality and variety in a menu that is bringing back discerning diners.

For a different experience, start your meal with an appetiser of crispy Chicken Pakora served with a delicious mint dip.  This shallow dish of mint sauce is also an ideal dip for crunchy discs of papadam served to whet your appetite.  Just a word of caution though – not to fill yourself up with appetisers as there are more items to savour in your meal!

Take your pick from a variety of North Indian dishes prepared with meat, poultry, fish or vegetables in a choice of rich flavours that tastes just right with plain steamed rice.  With helpful brief descriptions of the dishes in the menu, it is easy to choose items like Gobi Manchurian, a vegetable dish made with cauliflower florets, deep-fried in batter and served in a tasty sauce.  Fish Kottamali is a delicious dish prepared with chunks of boneless Tenggiri fish in mild and creamy gravy.

If you prefer a briyani rice set, try Mutton Dum Briyani served with a side of curry gravy and raita, a refreshing yoghurt dip flavoured with sliced onions. 

Here Dum Briyani, made with beautiful long-grained basmathi rice, is served in a claypot, dum-style with the meat and rice arranged in layers and cooked in low heat.  Remember to dig deep to the bottom of the claypot to mix the gravy before you savour the tasty rice infused with fragrant meat flavours.

At the Sykdeck, you are free to mix your meal choices from their wide menu so add on an interesting Grilled Walnut Chicken flavoured with balsamic syrup and Pan-fried Salmon Steak drizzled with orange sauce.  If you still have space, ask for the chef’s dessert recommendation and enjoy the view while he whips it up, ala minute for you.

Chocolate Brownie or Bread & Butter Pudding are both delightful but warm Rice Payasam prepared with tiny rice granules and fresh milk, fragrant with cardamom, cashew nuts and raisins, is an Indian dessert that perfectly complements a tasty meal!
