Your childhood family photo is much lik...Hi Peggy,

Your childhood family photo is much like ours, wish I could show you ours; three of us girls with our one brother, all smiling happily and innocently. Our youngest sister was not in the pic, because she was just a baby

Today we are locked in a will contest with our only brother who somehow got dad to sign a very weird will when he placed father at the horrible Sinda Old folks home. Our 'little' brother placed him there, not once but thrice, twice I had to go retrieve him from the old folks home; I took Dad to my home in Singapore to nurse him.

Brother's wife refused to have dad at their home, because she had had quarreled with dad and had 'halau' him from her home in 2003.

So dad went home to Kluang and sister Rose took care of him since she always stayed with Dad.

Well, brother and his wife now claims 100% of Dad's quite substantial estate, as per 'Will'. We 4 sisters are much saddened by this turn of event. We offered brother the major portion of the estate, ie the oilpalm land; that will mean giving more than 50% of dad's estate. Dad had already given him 2 houses when he was alive.

But Brother wants to take the land (1.2 mil) one house (that is left), and he also wanted a share of the cash.

We sisters will be so happy to give him everything, but dad died disillusioned with his son, muttering for 4 years from 2007 to 2011, that his son, "lui ai , lau peh boh ai" ie 'money want, father don't want'

I wish you and your parents' family all the best, and hope you never encounter the likes of my brother in your family.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
