Video entries that creatively expressed the pride in being an Iskandarian, were uploaded on social media platforms like YouTube and Instagram, and judged by the number of “Likes” received.

Entrants also benefited from an exclusive, complimentary workshop conducted by renowned photography guru, Andrew Boey, from the Nikonean Beyond Photography Academy, Kuala Lumpur, to sharpen their technical skills to better capture the essence of Iskandar Malaysia on camera.

“These captivating images that transcend race, religion, culture and creed, are the windows to Iskandar Malaysia’s very heart and soul, and pays homage to the people of Johor,” said Syed Mohamed who hoped that the creativity in the winning photographs and videos will be an inspiration for participants in next year’s competition.
