I cheered
and clapped along with the crowd when young guests at Legoland Malaysia Resort correctly
answered quiz questions and won prizes of Lego boxes at the launch of the
Legoland advent calendar, recently.
A unique Christmas tree made of Duplo blocks! |
In this
season of giving, Legoland Malaysia is getting generous with gifts and one
guest each day has the chance to win the day’s top prize when they open a
window on the Legoland advent calendar at 7pm
every day in December!
The
advent calendar features 31 windows for each
day of the month and one window would be opened every day in this festive
month for lucky guests to win prizes.
Resort
guests are in for a treat as the prizes include a set of flight tickets for a
family of four (4) to Chiang Mai, Thailand, hotel stay packages for families
and various sets of attractive Lego boxes with toys like Lego Star Wars,
Ninjago and the Christmas series, for endless fun.
A window on the advent calendar will be opened every day in December for guests to win prizes |
The
advent calendar also acts as a countdown to the festivities in the park this
holiday season that will culminate with a spectacular 3D Lego fireworks display on Dec 31 when Legoland Malaysia ushers
in a brand new year.
At this
year-end holiday, guests are invited to join a Brick-Tacular journey in Legoland Malaysia and enjoy new rides,
attractions and activities. Visit the Snow Village and Christmas Market to experience special snow effects four times a
day and enjoy “Christmas Carl” an entertaining and interactive Christmas stage show.
Guests having fun in the Legoland Malaysia snow fall |
Look out
for the Sleigh Parade where Santa
and his elves, along with the Gingerbread Man and Tin Soldier, will tour the
resort to distribute holiday candies and treats to everyone. So catch Santa in action and capture a few
photo mementoes this festive season.
And when
the sun goes down, guests can better appreciate the lights and decorations on
Legoland’s unique Christmas tree –
the tallest in Asia, made entirely of Duplo blocks!
A visit
to the park is not complete without trying out the fully immersive 4D Lego Ninjago The Ride, the first of its
kind in Asia and the latest hi-tech attraction in Legoland Malaysia!
The iconic Petronas Twin Towers in the upgraded KL Cluster in Miniland |
Inspired
by the popular Lego line of Ninjago toys and TV series, this dark ride allows
guests to become their favourite characters and defeat the Great Devourer using
hand gesture technology by Triotech where virtual projectiles are thrown by
bare hands!
When you
visit Miniland at Legoland Malaysia
to enjoy miniatures of iconic buildings in and around Asia, look for the
recently upgraded Kuala Lumpur Cluster
and have fun trying to identify familiar landmarks in the capital city.
At
the launch of the upgraded KL Cluster, I witnessed how Legoland Malaysia
Resort’s General Manager (Interim), Young Pil-Kim, and Director of Operations,
Casper Bonavent, each chose a spot in the KL Cluster to place their Lego
miniature figure.
My
friend, Florence and I, also had our own Lego miniature figures and when
invited to pick a spot to place them in the KL Cluster, we looked high and low,
wondering where we could ask the master model-maker members to help us add them
into the display.
Florence and I with our Lego miniature models |
When I
spotted several Lego miniature Santa on the rooftops, Florence and I decided that
our Lego miniature models should join Santa up there!
So when
you visit the KL Cluster in Miniland, check out a building with a wild name
like Wisma Koponaz and there you
should meet the Lego miniature models on its rooftop that represent Florence
and me!
