In a flag-off ceremony held on Jan 17 at Johor Baru City Square Mall, Johor Menteri Besar, Dato’ Haji Hasni Mohammad officially launched the airasia Super App in Johor.

 

He was joined by CEO of airasia ride, Lim Chiew Shan, and Head of Delivery for airasia Super App, Lim Ben-Jie, Johor Baru District Officer, Dato’ Haji Abdul Rahman Salleh and representative of Johor Baru City Council Mayor, Tengku Tarmizi Tengku Aziz.

 

In his official address, the Johor Menteri Besar congratulated AirAsia, in particular the airasia Super App team, for the launch of airasia Super App delivery services in Johor.

“AirAsia has been a significant player supporting Johor’s tourism and economic activities since its inception in 2002 and we applaud their effort in taking yet another step to contribute to the online delivery and ride-hailing industry in the state,” said Dato’ Hasni.

 

“airasia Super App delivery service will not only create more job opportunities for the people in Johor, but will also provide restaurants and F&B operators with more choices when delivering their products to their customers,” he added.

 

He was optimistic that the arrival of airasia Super App in Johor will create healthy competition in the industry and boost the road to economic recovery in the state.
