Thomas & Friends are chugging into Thomas Town at Puteri Harbour this holiday season.

The collection of 70 mini engines, modelled after world renowned Thomas the No. 1 little blue engine, is on display in Puteri Harbour from now till Jan 7 to thrill children of all ages and even their parents, who grew up with familiar characters like Thomas, Percy, James and Gordon.

Dubbed the Mini & Mighty Malaysia Tour, this nationwide tour of 70 units of meter-high engines kicked off last April in Petaling Jaya and has travelled to Malacca and Penang before arriving at Thomas Town in Puteri Harbour.

Various sections of Thomas Town and Puteri Harbour have been taken over by Thomas & Friends for fans to come face-to-face with their favourite engine, not only in its classic design but also in various themes like Dino, Heroes, Spooky, Racers, Neon, Robo, Chillin’ and Metallic.

“It’s the first time we have embarked on such an ambitious roadshow with 70 mini engines which were exclusively produced for the Tour by our partner, Mattel South East Asia,” said Thomas Town Puteri Harbour general manager, Fahruddin Najumudeen.  “I believe the exhibition will be an once-in-a-lifetime experience for fans,” he added.

Besides story-telling sessions and the Thomas Town Track Challenge, one of the must-see attractions in Thomas Town this season is the Thomas Sodor Surprise show which is performed live at 2pm daily and at 1pm on Saturday, Sunday and on public holidays.

This colourful and interactive live show will engage the audience with sing-along fun and gear them up to better appreciate other Thomas & Friends attractions like the Sodor Island Maze Challenge and Thomas Town Trivia Game.

The Thomas Bouncy Castle, set up in the Puteri Harbour mall, gives young visitors the bonus of enjoying a bouncy fun time with the purchase of two or more park tickets or a minimum combined spend of RM200 at any retail outlet or hotel in Puteri Harbour.

If you pick up a copy of the Mini & Mighty Malaysia Tour promotional flyer which entitles you to a special 20% discount on All-Park Passes (limited to 4 tickets and for walk-ins only) just by presenting the flyer at the Puteri Harbour Attractions Ticketing Counter.

For a limited time, the purchase of one All-Park Pass will get the second ticket for free on the next visit to Thomas Town.

Celebrate Family Fun Time@Puteri Harbour is the theme for a host of year-end activities, all free-of-charge, at Puteri Harbour for the whole family held from 11am on each Saturday and Sunday.

Join the crowd to browse at the Christmas Port-of-Call Year-End Bazaar, take part in workshops in making Christmas handicrafts, origami and sand art and thrill to a snow-fall experience at the Centre Court!
