For the breaking-of-fast this
Ramadhan, Amaya Food Gallery will present delightful dishes in Irama Set meals
for diners to savour two choices of set menus that include an Appetizer, Soup,
Main Course dishes with rice, and which ends sweetly with Dessert.
Amaya Food Gallery presents Irama Sets this Ramadhan for breaking-of-fast meals |
This Ramadhan, signature
Thai dishes like Green Curry Chicken, Beef Massaman and deep-fried Fish fillets
in three-flavour sauce, are popular items featured in the Thai Set.
Advanced orders are
recommended so choose from the Malay Set or the Thai Set, served daily
from April 16 to May 12, 6.30pm to 10.30pm.
There are ten items on each
menu and a choice of either the Lamb or Beef dish is offered to
accommodate the taste preference of diners.
Smoked Beef in Spicy Coconut Milk, better known as Daging Salai Masak Lemak Chilli Padi |
As its name describes, the
former is made with lamb chops coated in a rich caramel (sweet!) sauce and when
the latter dish is called by its local name, Daging Salai Masak Lemak Chili
Padi, it will certainly strike a familiar chord.
In the Thai Set, diners
may choose either Grilled Lamb Jim Jaew or Beef Massaman.
Grilled Lamb Jim Jaew are
grilled lamb chops served with a side of special Thai spicy chilli sauce while
Beef Massaman, a tasty signature Thai beef dish at Amaya, really needs no
introduction.
Oxtail Soup, best savoured when it's steaming hot |
Then comes the Soup:
Oxtail Soup with cuts of meaty oxtail in rich soup (sup berempah)
in the Malay Set and Tom Yum Goong or spicy Prawn Tom Yum soup in the Thai Set.
In typically Asian style,
the main course dishes and gravies are best savoured with rice.
Signature Green Curry Chicken |
In addition to the diners’
choice of a Beef or Lamb dish, each Irama Set meal comes with four more dishes
prepared with fish, prawns, chicken and vegetables in a variety of tasty
traditional recipes.
In the Malay Set, the fish
dish is Gulai Patin Tempoyak while the Amaya’s signature deep-fried
Tilapia fish in three-flavoured sauce, comes with the Thai Set.
Gulai Patin Tempoyak |
The chicken dish in the
Malay set is Ayam Perchik and the Thai Set comes with Amaya’s signature
Green Curry Chicken.
Meanwhile, Chilli Eggplant
is the vegetable dish in the Malay Set while the Thai Set serves a dish of Thai-style
stir-fried Mixed Vegetables.
Finally, the twin desserts
served in the Irama Set are Assorted Cut Fruits in addition to Sago Gula Melaka
for the Malay Set and Mango Sticky Rice in the Thai Set.
Sticks of Chicken and Beef Satay are served with condiments and spicy peanut sauce |
